Our Management Staff
The trust and working relationship that develops between your child, their teacher, and you must be earned. Our child care staff averages two or more years of hands-on experience working in child care centers. All staff members meet the state-required qualifications in early childhood education and are committed to your child’s development.
All staff members are required to further their education by:
- Attending regular staff meetings and in-service training seminars
- Completing 15-25 hours per calendar year of continuous education
- Continually striving above and beyond what is expected of them on a daily basis

Cassie Knauer
Director
Ms. Cassie has been the director at Discover Little Miracles since May of 2022. She has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, along with her Child Care Administrator Credential.
On a daily basis, Ms. Cassie is working to create a family friendly environment at our center, making this a safe fun learning environment for both the children and staff!
Katie Knight
Kitchen Manager
Ms. Katie has been our Kitchen Manager since September of 2005, when we opened our group child care center.
Ms. Katie plans and implements our monthly menus, creating healthy eating opportunities for the children.
